CrossFit season is open!

CrossFitters around the world got their 2017 season underway over the weekend after CrossFit HQ released the Reebok CrossFit Open workout 17.1.

Athletes have four days to complete the workout at an affiliate box or record the workout and submit the link as proof. At the end of the five-week Open, the fittest move on to the next stages of competition: The Regionals and The Online Qualifier. For more info or to track the progress of your friends or other local athletes, visit

Workout 17.1

For time:

  • 10 dumbbell snatches
  • 15 burpee box jump-overs
  • 20 dumbbell snatches
  • 15 burpee box jump-overs
  • 30 dumbbell snatches
  • 15 burpee box jump-overs
  • 40 dumbbell snatches
  • 15 burpee box jump-overs
  • 50 dumbbell snatches
  • 15 burpee box jump-overs
  • Men use 50-lb. dumbbell and 24-in. box

Time cap: 20 minutes
